Course Description:
The purpose of the art education courses at Pendergrass Fairwold School is to provide students with a comprehensive, sequential, rigorous, and balanced approach to learning the elements of art and principals of design.

Teacher Professional Biography:
George Sims works at Arden Elementary School and Pendergrass Fairwold Schools as an art teacher. In 1973, he began service in the United States Air Force where his jobs included communications operator in fixed and mobile communications centers. He has taught in Richland County School District One for 14 years. In his current job, George teaches art to students at Arden elementary three days a week and at Pendergrass Fairwold School two days a week. George lives in Columbia with his wife.
